The beraberce Assosiation launched a program in cooperation with the Sultanbeyli Municipality in Istanbul and its partnering “Mülteciler Derneği” (Refugee Association), titled “The Community Interprete”. The content of this training program was developed and applied by the beraberce Association.
The training course’s primary objective was to introduce the participants to the community interpreting profession; enhance their interpreting skills; develop an understanding of the professional code of ethics; practice the application of these ethical principles; discuss commonly faced issues within the profession and develop problem-solving mechanisms. This content was then gathered and published in the form of a brochure, titled “An Overview of the Community Interpreter Training Program,” and disseminated to the program’s participants.
